Insect pests and nematodes affecting pomegranate

The cultivation of pomegranates in many states in India has increased. The pomegranate tree is affected by various pests and diseases. Along with the wilt disease of pomegranate, the infestation of Nematodes, which are invisible to the naked eye is being observed on large scale on the trees.This has resulted in increased loss to the farmers.
