Harvesting and sorting seasme.

The sesame seeds are roasted before crushing. Heating is done to remove excess water from the seeds after the cleaning process. Seeds with less than 9 % moisturecontent (added with palm jaggery in case of cold pressed oil) arepressed by screw press or hydraulic press at less than 70°C temperature.
